Description

Solar Filter

Viewing a solar eclipse with your friends and family can be a beautiful and memorable experience. However, without taking the proper precautions, it can also be very dangerous. Keep yourself and your loved ones safe throughout the spectacle with our Black Polymer Solar Filter Film from Rainbow Symphony. Our solar viewing film is designed to block out all harmful radiation from the sun, including 100% of harmful ultraviolet light, 100% of infrared light, and 99.999% of intense visible light.

Direct Solar Viewing Done Right

While our Eclipse Glasses will allow you to safely view a solar eclipse, study sunspots, or study planetary transits, they are not designed to be used in conjunction with a telescope or binoculars. If you want to study the Sun through a telescope, finder scope, binoculars, or a camera, and need to create a custom size for the opposing end of your devices, we recommend using our solar viewing film instead.

Our solar film is designed to go on the opposing end of your viewing device, not the eyepiece. If you use the film on the end closest to you, your device’s magnification may damage the filter and burn a hole in the film. When used correctly, the film will provide you with a natural, light-orange image of the Sun that is sharp, clear, and safe to view.

High Quality Materials

At Rainbow Symphony, we are proud to provide our customers with high quality products they can trust. Our solar viewing film is made from premium 2 mil Optical Grade polymer, and meets the Standard for ISO 12321-2:2015 for guaranteed safe solar viewing. Each sheet measures 12 inches x 12 inches, and is compatible with a wide range of viewing devices. Place your order today at Rainbow Symphony!
